Fudge

I had a lot of fun making fudge for the first time over Christmas. I really liked this fudge:

German Chocolate No-cook Fudge from “100 Best Chocolate Recipes” (slightly modified by me!!)
3 packages (4 oz each) German sweet chocolate, broken into piecesimages1.jpg
1 cup (6 oz) chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla
36 pecan halves

Line 8×8 pan with foil. Microwave chocolate and chocolate chips on high for 1 minute. Stir, then microwave at 30 second intervals with stirring inbetween, until melted and smooth. Add milk, chopped pecans and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Pour into pan. Score into squares with knife. Place one pecan half on each square. Refrigerate until firm. Remove from pan and foil and cut into squares (use score marks.) Store in fridge.
